BRP US Inc. in the United States and Bombardier Recreational Products Inc. in Canada (collectively "BRP") are conducting a voluntary EPA recall on certain Evinrude E-TEC 15–65 HP outboard.

As defined in Title 40 of the Code of Federal Regulations, as a manufacturer, BRP is required to correct engines that may be emitting pollutants in excess of Federal emission standards. An incorrect fuel hose type contained in the fuel hose and primer bulb assembly may have been provided with the engine. This fuel hose type will emit fuel vapors that have been shown to harm the environment. This issue can be corrected by replacing the fuel hose and primer bulb assembly on the above listed outboard models.
